APG selected by Uganda Airlines as General Sales Agent in the United Kingdom

APG, the world’s leading airline representation network, is pleased to announce its appointment as the General Sales Agent (GSA) for Uganda Airlines in the United Kingdom, ahead of the airline’s upcoming launch of direct flights between Entebbe and London Gatwick.

Uganda Airlines will commence this long-anticipated route on May 18, 2025, with four weekly non-stop flights, further expanding its international footprint and offering a direct link between Uganda and the UK for the first time in over two decades.

Under this new agreement, APG will be responsible for providing full sales and marketing services as well as reservation support in the UK market. APG will also support Uganda Airlines with travel trade engagement and promotional initiatives designed to drive awareness and sales of the new route.

The new service will be operated using Uganda Airlines’ state-of-the-art Airbus A330-800neo, offering a three-class configuration: Business, Premium Economy, and Economy – catering to both leisure and corporate travellers.

Richard Burgess, President of APG Network, commented: “We are delighted to be representing Uganda Airlines in the UK at such a pivotal moment in their international expansion. “APG is happy to be partnering with LOT Polish Airlines, to extend the offer in Europe to our 2,500 + partner travel agencies worldwide. By using APG Platform to sell LOT content, our partner travel agencies will avoid the GDS EDIFACT surcharge of 16 EUR / 17 USD YR fees, and will benefit from the no bag fares and the exclusive promotion” said Héloïse PARRAIN, APG Platform Director.

Air Canada’s NDC connection is now available on the APG Platform, APG’s NDC portal.

APG, the world’s largest and most successful airline representation network with over 100 offices globally, is partnering with Air Canada, Canada’s largest airline and a founding member of Star Alliance, to offer Air Canada’s full content via the APG NDC platform.

“APG is happy to be partnering with Air Canada, the largest airline in Canada to extend the offer in North Americas to our + 2 000 partner travel agencies worldwide. The full breadth of Air Canada content is available through our NDC Platform, and more functionalities will come in the coming months.” said Héloïse PARRAIN, APG Platform Director.

APG is proud to announce its appointment as the General Sales Agent (GSA) for TAP AIR PORTUGAL in China This strategic partnership marks a significant milestone in TAP Air Portugal’s expansion into the Chinese market, further enhancing the airline’s presence and strengthening its sales and distribution efforts in the region.

APG selected by AirBaltic as General Sales Agent in Egypt

APG is proud to announce its appointment as the General Sales Agent (GSA) for airBaltic in Egypt. This strategic alliance aims to boost airBaltic’s sales and strengthen its market presence in the region.

As part of this agreement, APG will deliver comprehensive sales activities, marketing support, and reservation and ticketing services to enhance airBaltic’s routes in Egypt.

This winter season, airBaltic plans to introduce scheduled flights from its home base in Riga, Latvia, to Hurghada and Sharm el-Sheikh, with up to two weekly flights to each destination. Previously, these routes were operated as part of a charter programme.
