Xiamen Airlines extends partnership with APG to Kuwait and Saudi Arabia

Xiamen Airlines, a Chinese full-service carrier based at Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport, has appointed APG as its offline General Sales Agent (GSA) in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia to further support the start of Xiamen Airlines operations to Qatar. A long-standing partner of APG, Xiamen Airlines is represented by APG in multiple markets globally, including Qatar.

Xiamen Airlines recently announced that it will launch regular flights between Beijing Daxing and Doha on October 20th and Xiamen-Doha on October 31st. The consecutive opening of two direct flights to the Middle East coincides with the 35th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Qatar.

Xiamen Airlines is the first Chinese carrier to operate nonstop flights from China to Qatar.

According to the latest plan, the Beijing-Doha route will operate daily, depart from Beijing at 1830 and arrive in Doha at 2245 local time, in return leave Doha at 0200 local time and arrive in Beijing at 1520, while the Xiamen-Doha route will operate two flights per week, depart from Xiamen at 0005 and arrive in Doha at 0500 local time, in return leave Doha at 1930 local time and back to Xiamen at 0755 the next day. Both routes will be operated by Boeing 787 Dreamliner, offering passengers more spacious and comfortable seats. The First-class and Business-class seats can recline to a fully flat position of 180 degrees, providing passengers with an enhanced sleeping experience during long-haul flights.

Xiamen Airlines, a SkyTeam member is embarking on comprehensive collaboration with Qatar Airways, Oneworld member for further connections to key markets beyond Doha, in the Middle East, Africa and Europe.

The cooperation with Qatar Airways means both airlines will not only have codeshare cooperation on Beijing Daxing-Doha and Xiamen-Doha, but also extend their cooperation to full network interline, through check-in and lounge access. Leveraging the resources of Qatar Airways, Xiamen Airlines can extend its network to over 160 global destinations, including Dammam, Lagos, Algiers, and more. This offers passengers a wide range of transfer product choices and seamless travel experience It’s worth noting that both Xiamen Airlines and Qatar Airways were honoured with the APEX World Class Award, earning a place among the “Top Eight Airlines in the World.” In the future, the partnership of these two Five-Star airlines will bring more wonderful flying experience to the customers worldwide.

WIDERØE appoints APG as its online GSA in the United Kingdom

Widerøe, Norway’s largest regional airline, has appointed APG as its online General Sales Agent (GSA) in the United Kingdom. Under the agreement, APG will be providing the airline with wide-ranging sales and marketing activities, as well as reservations and ticketing services.

Widerøe, with its rich history dating back to 1934, has been a trusted and reliable choice for travellers in Norway and beyond. As a GSA for Widerøe, APG will play a pivotal role in promoting the airline’s services and enhancing its market reach in the UK.

Tailwind Air, based in Manhattan, has appointed APG as its online General Sales Agent (GSA) in the USA. Under the agreement APG will be providing the airline with sales development and wide-ranging marketing activities.
