Jean-Louis Baroux is a distinguished expert in the airline and travel industry, bringing over 55 years of experience to the field. A graduate of ESC Lyon (1967), Jean-Louis has dedicated his career to shaping the air transport sector.

His journey began with 15 years in marketing for French scheduled carriers before founding Air Promotion Group (APG) in 1985. Under his leadership, APG became a global leader in airline representation. In 2007, he entrusted the company's stewardship to his daughter, Sandrine de Saint Sauveur, while simultaneously establishing JLB Conseils, a consultancy for airlines and airports that oversees the APG brand worldwide.

Jean-Louis is the visionary behind several influential forums and events. He founded the Cannes Airlines Forum, which he successfully ran for 17 editions, and in 2009, launched the globally renowned APG World Connect. This annual event, which attracts over 400 airline and aviation leaders, has been hosted in prestigious locations such as Malta, Monaco, Singapore, Washington, and Sevilla.

An accomplished author, Jean-Louis has penned five books on air transport, including "The Airlines – The Failure of an Industry""Air Transport: A Profession on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown", and "We Lost MH370". His writings offer deep insights into the challenges and intricacies of the aviation world. He also contributes regularly as a columnist to prominent professional publications such as TourmagLa Quotidienne, and Déplacements Pros.

Jean-Louis Baroux's contributions have earned him recognition as an Officer in the National Order of Merit, underscoring his enduring influence and commitment to the air transport industry.
